peaceful night-time scenes always put me in mind of possibilities. the blackness is reminiscent of space, of a state of simplicity before life’s little complications get in the way. i could be an animal in an empty world, building what i will, reflecting one facet of a creator god. night, and the sensations and thoughts that accompany it, feel cleaner without the schedule of the day.
it’s a precious feeling, and one we need to grow.
